A few days ago, I made a vision board on Canva for the purpose of creating my recent YouTube video, “Vision Boarding: 6-Step Blueprint to Manifesting Dreams“. It was only supposed to be an example and I had no idea it would have such a huge impact on me. I slowly began adding to it and eventually, it turned into – ‘YES! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!’
Circling back to time, I suggested to my partner, “What if we make a plan to look at this every morning before we start working to remind us of what we’re working toward?” He loved the idea and took it a step further. “That sounds great, what if we also look at it and ask ourselves, ‘How am I spending my time and is the way I spend it contributing to this?’”
His suggestion made me think, we really don’t grasp how quickly time goes by until it’s gone. Sometimes, we waste it without even realizing it. Here’s how you can make the most of it…
5 Ways to Make the Most of Your Time
- First, you need to watch this because this video blew my mind. Thank you, Ryan Holiday.
- If you get overwhelmed by the long list of things you want to experience in your life, read this book!
- Stop wasting time on stupid shit like social media. Gotta work? Get in there and get TF out! Also, DO LESS.
- Warning, this is extremely techy but also extremely interesting.
- I’ll leave you with this one – worth watching. Malama is such a vibe.
To truly harness the power of time, we must first acknowledge how we are using it. Time, like a river, flows steadily, and we can either let its current sweep us away or we can intentionally navigate it toward the life we want. Reflecting on my vision board, it’s clear that we have the capacity to create meaningful paths and guide our time in a direction that serves us.
Time can either be our friend or foe; it’s really up to us. It’s like the hands on a clock – constantly moving, but where they point is influenced by our choices. It’s essential to nurture the positive while trimming away the time-wasters that divert us.
As you go forward this week, ask yourself:
Are my actions today feeding my dreams for tomorrow? Cherish your time, guard it, but most importantly, spend it on what truly matters.
